Telori Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters

Effective Date: April 5, 2026Last Updated: April 5, 2026

Telori ("we," "us," or "our") explains here what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

When you create or use a Telori account, we may collect and store:

  • Email address for account identification, sign-in, recovery, and account functionality
  • Display name for account functionality and personalization
  • Profile photo if you choose to upload one or use a provider photo
  • Linked account identifiers from supported sign-in providers such as Apple or Google

1.2 Content You Create

We collect the content you create in the app, including:

  • Goals, milestones, tasks, and related planning content
  • Reflections and journal-style entries
  • AI coaching prompts and responses
  • Other user content you choose to save in Telori

1.3 Support, Usage, Diagnostics, and Service Data

Depending on how you use the app, we may collect:

  • Customer support or feedback submissions you send to us
  • Product interaction data such as app launches, taps, and feature usage
  • Other usage data related to activity in the app
  • Crash data used to diagnose failures and improve reliability
  • Device ID / app-instance device identifier context used for app functionality such as anti-abuse and entitlement handling
  • Purchase history / subscription status information needed to manage premium access
  • Other app service data, such as push-notification delivery configuration and similar app-functionality data

1.4 Data Stored Locally on Your Device

Some optional profile preferences may be stored locally on your device through iOS system storage and are not currently disclosed in our App Store Connect privacy answers because they are not transmitted off-device in the current implementation. This can include:

  • Optional date of birth
  • Optional gender
  • Optional city or location label you enter or auto-fill for your own use

If we later begin transmitting any of this data off-device, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures accordingly.

3. Third-Party Services

3.1 Firebase / Google Cloud

We use Firebase and related Google Cloud services for authentication, cloud data storage, remote configuration, messaging, analytics, and crash reporting.

3.2 OpenAI

We use OpenAI to power AI coaching features. When you use those features, the content necessary to generate a response is sent through our server-side integration with OpenAI.

3.3 Apple

Apple provides Sign in with Apple and StoreKit subscription/payment processing. Apple handles payment credentials directly; we do not receive your full payment card details.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

We share data only as needed with service providers and platform partners that help us operate the app, such as:

  • Google / Firebase for authentication, cloud storage, messaging, analytics, and crash reporting
  • OpenAI for AI response generation
  • Apple for subscriptions, payment-related platform processing, and authentication features

We may also disclose information:

  • To comply with law or valid legal process
  • To protect our rights, users, or service security
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or business transfer

5. App Store Privacy Position

Our verified App Store Connect privacy state is:

  • Tracking: No
  • Data Used to Track You: None
  • Data Not Linked to You: None

The current App Store Connect privacy disclosure categories are limited to data that Apple defines as collected from the app and transmitted off-device in a persistent way. Some purely local preferences stored only on-device may therefore not appear in the App Store privacy summary.

6. Data Storage and Security

  • On-device app preferences may be stored using iOS-provided storage such as UserDefaults.
  • Sensitive credentials are handled through platform-secure mechanisms such as Apple authentication flows and iOS secure storage where applicable.
  • Cloud data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS.
  • We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure.

7. Data Retention

We retain data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the app, maintain account functionality, support users, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Examples:

  • Account and core app content are generally retained until you delete them or delete your account
  • Subscription and entitlement records are retained as needed for billing and audit purposes
  • Support, usage, and diagnostic records may be retained for product operations, security, fraud prevention, and troubleshooting for a limited period or as otherwise required

Where a more specific retention schedule applies operationally, we may update this policy to reflect it.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain personal data and to object to or limit certain processing.

Within the app, available options may include:

  • Account deletion
  • Data export where supported
  • Notification controls
  • Analytics preferences where offered

You can contact us using the details below to request privacy support.

9. Children's Privacy

Telori is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will review and delete it where appropriate.

10. International Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than the one where you live, including the United States, where our service providers and infrastructure may operate.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and may provide additional notice where required.
